This post title is an explanation on why the site hasn’t been updated and why the book hasn’t been released yet. The reason is simple: I ordered a proof copy from Lulu.com, to make sure everything was in order, on November 23rd. Faced with absurd shipping fees via courier ($50 compared to the $35 I used to pay), I decided to use registered mail. Now, almost a month has passed and I have no idea where the book is.
Although registered mail has a tracking number, Lulu.com did not supply anything to me. Unfortunately, I can’t release a book without checking that cover, interior, etc. are in order. In any case, as soon as I get a way to check that, I’ll secure an alternative service, and close down the store on Lulu.com.
I apologize for the problem, and as soon as I have a solution I’ll post here.

I’m very sorry to hear about your difficulties. Can you give me your order number? I don’t know if I can find anything more out, but I would be happy to check.
Regards,
Nick Popio

I will send an email later, but bear in mind that I will keep the whole matter public on the site. Since I know there is a lot (mind, I don’t know if it’s justified or not) of noise over order delays, increased prices and the rest, I would like to keep this as transparent as possible.
That said, we will not change our minds, and that means that “The Path to the Light” will be the last title published with Lulu.com. In any case, I’ll keep the readers posted with followups of this situation.
