This low quality photo (that features a sketch that will appear exclusively in Visions) shows the original design chosen for Satsuki (shown for the first time thanks to Too) and the modern design, which Too helped creating.
Some people may wonder why we chose the way of self-publishing instead of going through a “proper” publisher. There are a number of reasons for this.
Word has came to me that the work of our official artist, Too, has been heavily criticized for (apparently) showing resemblance with other published works. There has been a lot of discussion, either on some art forums and on deviantART (however I’m not giving any links, those people don’t deserve hits), and some people even called him “Fake artist”. Not to mention that when my brother stepped in one of the discussion to say his opinion, someone was bold enough to say “I feel sorry for you” because we were his commissioners.
The process of “creating” content, in my case a book, is usually something complex and differs from person to person. Here I’ll describe how it works for me, and how I can effectively cooperate with my brother to lay out the story of The S.T.E.A.L. Saga.
